Winnipeg, MB, October 23, 2020:
The Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) will hold its 25th annual conference, “Lead an AgSafe Canada”, virtually this year with its four-part speaker series kicking off on October 29th, continuing each Thursday through to November 19th. The sessions delve into a variety of topics ranging from on-farm safety culture and ag innovation in a pandemic to mental health and incident reporting.
“This year has been challenging – from a business perspective, as well as mental and physical health perspective,” says Marcel Hacault, CASA’s Executive Director. “It was important to us that we deliver a conference with timely resources and insights to support farmers and their families – on the farm and in their homes. If you’re a farmer, work with farmers, or are employed in safety services, this conference is for you.”
The conference has a diverse line-up of speakers, with break out session and question and answer periods to dig deeper into topics. All sessions are FREE and approximately 90 minutes in length. To register for the conference or for more information, visit www.casa-acsa.ca/en/annual-conference .
CASA has been organizing agricultural safety conferences for over 20 years to bring stakeholders together to work toward improving safety and encouraging safe behavior on Canadian farms.
Thank you to the 2020 conference presenting sponsor, TC Energy.
