Anhydrous Ammonia Safety & the Farmer

The anhydrous ammonia safety and the farmer training program has been developed by Fertilizer Canada as a resource for agri-retailers to incorporate into their farmer-customer training, and for farmers to complete independently. The training materials include a comprehensive training video and manual. Includes: Information on: characteristics of ammonia; required Personal Protective Equipment; working with nurse tanks and preventative maintenance; Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulatory requirements; and emergency response and reporting.
